Tanya Burr Lips and Nails Review

Saturday, February 08, 2014

Hello everyone! :) When I heard that the amazing +Tanya Burr  had a new collection coming out, I couldn't contain my excitement! As soon as they went on sale, I jumped straight online and bought some of her products. I was so happy to see that they had arrived this morning so I thought I would do a quick review/first impressions post for you!

The first purchase I made was a lipgloss. It was so incredibly difficult to pick one from the many gorgeous shades so I asked my mum which one she liked and I must say, she made a great choice. This is the lipgloss in the shade "chick" and it is just a gorgeous peachy pink colour which looks absolutely stunning on the lips. Not only is it super pigmented but it lasts for ages, I put it on at around 9:30am this morning and it stayed on until around 2:00pm which is a must have feature in a lipgloss for me. Also I just wanted to mention what all of the lipglosses in Tanya's collection smell exactly like strawberries dipped in chocolate, I kid you not, I just want to lick it all off my lips.

The second of the lipglosses I bought is this gorgeous sparkly red colour in the shade "heart skipped a beat" I think that Tanya has done an amazing job in naming all of the products in her collection because they all just sound so cute and appealing. I was kind of excited to try this out because it has tiny little shimmery pigments in it and I have never come across something like this before. Although a beautiful colour, I do find that it seems to be slightly less pigmented than the last lipgloss maybe due to the sparkles or it may just me my imagination. However it does still last an extremely long time. I think that this lipgloss is perfect for wearing with a subtle black smokey eye or a silver look with eyeliner or it would also be great as an every day alternative to a bright red matt lipstick. All in all, I love this product.

The last product I bought from Tanya's collection was this adorable nail varnish in the colour "peaches and cream".  I love this colour so much because it is so pretty and I think it looks like the perfect nail varnish for every day. I find that applying this to my nails is so easy because it is certainly not streaky and the colour shows up prominently as soon as you apply one coat. In addition to that, it doesn't take long at all to dry, well done Tanya!x

Thank you for reading my blog post! I would just like to congratulate Tanya Burr on creating such a fabulous line of makup, we are all so proud of you and we know that you have been working on this collection for the longest time! I think that you have designed some gorgeous products and I am so in love with them, Congratulations Tanya xo
