Beauty and the Blonde has been a bit of a journey for me. Ever since I was a young girl, I remember having this urge to have my own blog and post videos on Youtube. I remember being 11 years old sat in my mint green bedroom with one direction bed sheets, discovering Zoella and consequently so many other Youtubers that I began to devout my life to.
As I grew a little older and my passion began to grow even fonder, I began my first ever blog 'spottydog' (very questionable name but we'll roll with it) to which I started uploading really bad quality posts about my rimmel stay matte powder and collection lasting perfection concealer (if you know, you know).
Yet eventually, I grew bored of this but the underlining desire to be a successful blogger was still there. Around the age of 13, Beauty and the Blonde was born! The name changes were endless of course with it starting out as 'Katie Kat Beauty', but never the less I started to upload more regularly (that didn't last for long) and with better quality, more thought out posts.
Neglected as it may be, my blog has sat lonely for a couple of years now with only a few posts being uploaded but I saw it time to rekindle my spirit and redesign my blog!
Now, as I sit here writing this as an adult looking back to my childhood, this blog has an almost nostalgic feel to it, knowing that it's probably about 5 years old. So here we are, Beauty and the Blonde! Hopefully, I'll be sticking around for while now.
