Hey guys! So today I went out shopping in Peterborough where there is a HUGE shopping center. I picked up a few random bits and bobs so I decided to share them with you!
Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturser Normal/Combination - £36
This is a product that I am VERY excited about! I was just browsing through John Lewis when I came to the Liz Earle counter. I started trying out and testing loads of different products as I had heard great things about the brand, but then I spotted a perfect little pot of moisturiser which just looked so amazing that I just had to rub some on my skin. And BAM before I knew it, I was totally in love with a product that I hadn't even bought yet! Through out the day, my hand (where I had tested the product) felt silky smooth and so nourished, not to mention smelling amazing so I could only imagine what it would be like on my face! As someone with quite naturally good skin, I thought this moisturiser would be a great benefit at protecting my skin and keeping it just as smooth (maybe even more!) than it is now.
Collection Limited Edition Mardi Gras Lip Balm, Green Apple - £1.99
If you know me quite well, you will know that I am a total hoarder for lip balm. Like seriously. So when I saw that Collection had a limited edition lip balm come out that smelled like apple, I immediately picked one up and put it in my shopping basked. Oh and what a bargain at £1.99! I struggle keeping my lips nourished and soft and to be quite honest, I am getting a little tired of Baby Lips, so I decided to buy this and maybe compare it with others? I can't wait to see just how amazing this is going to be.
Collection Big Fake Ultimate False Lash Effect Mascara - £4.99
As well as being addicted to lip balm, I also happen to be a mascara junkie and well.... a makeup junkie in general and recently I just hadn't been able to find a good mascara that provides my lashes with length and volume. However, today I saw this mascara (which also happens to be a great bargain at £4.99) which claims to give me full ,voluminous lashes that look fake but also natural at the same time! Some of you may know that my eyelashes are absolutely terrible; refusing to curl, never lengthening and either super clumpy or too spread apart. Anyway, you get the picture. I am really looking forward to seeing the difference this makes on my lashes!
Primark Flower Crown - £3
As the tumblr-hipster girl I am, I was in need of a flower crown that didn't make my head look like a potato. So I decided to take a trip to the much loved Primark to see if they had any and of course I spotted the perfect sunflower crown. It took me a while to decide which one to select, there were headbands, stretchy head bands (if you know what I mean) but then I saw this from the corner of my eye, the perfect flower crown which was... well an actual flower crown! (Oh and btw it doesn't make my head look like a potato)
H&M Floral Dress - £7.99
I tend to mainly shop in places like Primark, Select and New look so when I walked into H&M, I was completely bombarded with bright colours and pretty patterns (not to mention sale stickers too!) Straight away I found myself clinging to this dress which was literally the PERFECT fit! Most of the dresses I own are just plain and simple (and mainly black) So I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and but a bright blue and navy, floral dress with a cute criss-cross back thing (idk) After trying it on, my eyes were fixated to the till as I knew that this dress was going to be my favourite for a very long time to come!
Primark Halter Cami Top - £2.50
Finally, I picked up a vest top (of which I already own) which I know for a fact that I love very much. I tend to wear a lot of vest tops but recently I have been liking more flowy, loose fitting ones such as this. I think that this is such a plain simple top to add to my wardrobe as you can do just about anything with it including layering and prehaps tucking it loosely into a pair of tie die shorts and tying a flannel shirt around your waste! And lets be honest, at £2.50, it's pretty amazing quality.
